Position: Telemarketing business developer

By contacting potential customers by phone, email, and follow-ups, you will be instrumental in creating new business opportunities as a Telemarketing Business Developer. Setting up appointments for activation, qualifying leads, and generating interest are your objectives.

Duties and responsibilities

  1. Proactively contact potential customers by phone and email to introduce our products/services.
  2. Generate qualified leads and set appointments to present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, answer questions, provide information, and close deals.
  3. Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients; maintain detailed records of calls and customer feedback.
  4. Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
  5. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including sales leads and partnership opportunities.
  6. Identify customer needs and provide information on appropriate solutions.
  7. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and suppliers.
  8. Develop and implement strategic sales and business development plans to achieve growth targets.
  9. Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform business development strategy.

Education & experience

  1. Candidate must have at least two (2) years of experience in telemarketing, business development/account management, or a related field.
  2. Must possess a bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field.

Required skills

  • Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Sales experience is an advantage.
  • Ability to handle rejection and remain motivated.
  • Comfortable using computers and CRM systems.

Key result area

The person in this position is in charge of bringing on new customers in order to expand the firm, with a particular emphasis on increasing revenue.
